The GRE is no longer scheduled to change formats! The current format and content of the GRE will remain unchanged and examinees' schedules will remain uninterupted.
Free extra-help sessions are offered every Friday. Students wishing to attend may bring questions to ask the attending instructor, receive extra help on problem areas, or use these hours for structured study time.
Our Curriculum
More than just simple
guessing strategies and tricks. Our curriculum is designed to get you the
meaningful score increase that can only be achieved through solid understanding, skill building, and vocabulary building.
Learn how to scan for answers quickly on the GRE CAT reading comprehension.
Our multiple word lists will start you on vocabulary at your level and slowly increase your vocabulary difficulty, for maximum effectiveness on the computer adaptive exam. We offer simpler word lists for ESL students, as well as advanced word lists.
Our math review will cover all math concepts from basic to advanced, as well as highly effective strategies that will help you do math more quickly and easily.
Learn how to spot flaws quickly for the argument essay, how to create an persuasive argument for the issue essay, and how to add polish to your essays to garner a higher score.
Each of the 12 class sessions is supplemented by a homework
assignment comprised of actual GRE questions from ETS's official GRE guide, as well as multiple verbal and math drills.

Course Materials
The materials for the comprehensive course include the official GRE guide published by ETS
including over 400 actual, formerly administered GRE questions. Lecture materials and practice drills are contained in a
handsome binder which allows you to conveniently removal practice drills for practice at work or on the metro and also allows you to insert extra lecture notes. The cost of this material is included in the price of the course.

Our Instructors
Occassionally, the verbal and quantitative portions of the course will
be taught by separate instructors. Each of our instructors for the quantitative porttion is required
to have achieved a perfect 800 on the quantitative portion of the GRE. Each of our verbal instructors
is required to have achieved at least a 730 on the verbal portion of the GRE. Of course, our instructors are not just
masterful at answering GRE questions, they are also masterful at teaching the GRE to
others, and they do so in a way that will keep you awake and
engaged.

Course Location: Dupont Circle
Our Dupont classroom is located at 1530 16th Street, NW, about
4 blocks from the Dupont metro station (on the red line). To get to our office by metro, exit on Q street from the Dupont Circle stop. Turn right after coming up the escalator and walk straight down Q street until you reach 16th street. At 16th street, turn right. 1530 is the 3rd building on the street.
Parking along the west side of 16th street is metered until 6:30; after 6:30 parking along the street is free. Parking along the east side of 16th street is prohibited between 4:00 and 6:30 (rush hour) but is free thereafter. For the convenience of students who are driving, evening
classes at Dupont begin at 6:30.
Extra-Help Sessions
Every Friday evening free
extra-help sessions are held at our Dupont Circle classroom location. Students can
bring questions to ask the attending instructor and use this time for structured
studying. The attending instructor usually takes turns sitting with each student
and either answering homework questions or working on a specific problem
area.
Class Schedules
Class schedules for the GRE run cyclically and each
schedule lasts for about 2 months. Each schedule includes 12 lecture classes, each focusing exclusively on either
the math or verbal portion. Occassionally, the verbal and math classes will be taught by separate instructors.
Students are advised to take their GRE test between a week and a half to two weeks
after the end of the course.
