Griffon Prep was founded in 2005 by two test-prep industry veterans. The company is dedicated to quality test-prep, small classes, and highly qualified instruction.
What is Quality?
Our instructors are knowledgeable professionals who have extensive teaching experience.
Some leading companies allow people to teach without having taken the exam; such a policy allows some less-qualified
teachers to slip through the cracks at other companies. Griffon Prep instructors are all required to score exceptionally high on
an actual, officially administered GRE, GMAT, or LSAT exam and to submit proof of this score. This ensures that the person teaching knows
the material, has gone through the experience of the test, and can teach and empathize with students. Of course, a terrific score doesn't
automatically create a great teacher, which is why all of our instructors are also required to demonstrate strong public-speaking and explanatory
skills. All of our teachers go through extensive training, and periodic teacher meetings ensure quality by encouraging discussion among
teachers about best practices.
